Elementary (Grade School) Objectives


In keeping with the philosophy and mission of Colegio de Santa Ana, the school commits herself to the task of developing in the student:
  • A truly human, humane, and religious personality,
  • A readiness for the next level of learning,
  • A sense of mission and social responsibility,
  • An awareness of current issues in the locality, the country and outside of the country, and
  • The commitment to Know, Love, and Serve God and Fellowmen.

  • These shall be achieved through the different subject areas in the grade school curriculum through its program activities, which will enable the students to:
  • Acquire the basic knowledge of Catholic faith and principle by which he manifests a Marian character, a manner and awareness of his race as a growing Catholic Filipino and a life lived as a WITNESS to the love of Christ by doing the will of the Father in the service of His fellowmen,
  • Distinguish and use properly the basic tool in oral and written communication; acquire skill and resourcefulness in the use of reading materials; appreciation and love for literature and development of Christian moral values,
  • Makapag pakitang kakayahan ng kaisipan sa pagbasa at pagsulat upang maipamalas at isabuhay ang makataong pamumuhay at makatulong sa ikakaunlad ng isang bansang Kristiyano,
  • Demonstrate knowledge of basic concept and principle; perform simple scientific processes necessary to interpret natural phenomena sufficiently and be able to apply his innate talent and ability in using the resources of the community in his daily activities in order to appreciate and take care of God's creation,
  • Acquire an understanding of the concepts, facts and processes which each one is encouraged to use in various application; creativity by self-discovery of basic ideas, principles and laws of Math and how to use them in everyday life in order to become desirable Catholic citizen through meaningful goals,
  • Magkaroon ng kaalamang nagpapakita ng pambansang pagkakaisa, pagkamatapat at upang mapagyaman ang pag-ibig at pagpapahalaga sa mga katutubong kaugalian, paniniwala at pananampalatayang Katoliko,
  • Express feelings, ideas through various interest such as art, local musical instruments, recreational activities, games and scouting, good health care and formation of health habits in order to develop Christian attitudes in productive work and undertakings and acquire a strong and sound body through participation in a well-balanced and well-directed P.E., Music and Art Program,
  • Learn to develop the standards of living and appreciation for the ideals of home life that gives a feeling of satisfaction, accomplishments as a Christian homemaker especially in solving contemporary family problems.
